I completely disagree that it's normal for sons not to be close to their parents. However, I've found bible-thumper families are often odd and less affectionate, especially those who get so offended by the swearing in movies or shows. And I fully disagree that "every single one of them is a crook" when talking about the Tiger King. You can never say all or nothing about any group, and there are a number of them who had zero agenda like the girl who had her arm bitten off, etc.

Someone once told me “Imagine having an itch but you don’t know how to use your hands to scratch it”😂. To this day my toddler likes her back to be scratched 😂

My second daughter also needed to be bounced to sleep. Try using a yoga ball. It was a life saver. It takes a few minutes to get them down but manageable, and easier than the swings and bouncers. You’re just getting started bro, hang in there. Enjoy the ride!

I use to have a yoga ball I’d sit on with my baby to bounce . It definitely was the only thing that would soothe her sometimes.

Try rain sounds to put the little one to sleep bro. If not that try rocking em or right after a bottle or during give the rain sounds a try. Sometimes u gotta sleep when they are sleep as well
